Audit Manager/Senior Manager

As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with Principals and Partners, supervising and directing audit engagements to ensure excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and managing audit engagements and related projects, including reviewing workpapers and financial statements in accordance with standards
- Supervise, develop and motivate engagement staff and seniors by providing mentorship, leadership and career guidance
- Maintaining and developing strong client relationships on various audit engagements.
- Managing engagement workflow, engagement team resources, and engagement billing and collections.
- Conduct research, continuously enhance technical professional skills and develop expertise within the firm.
- Identify and recommend new business opportunities for the firm.
- Exercises independent, critical thinking skills when determining engagement procedures based on risk and evaluating evidence
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- CPA license is required.
- Five (5) or more years prior work experience in public accounting required
- Prior significant supervisory experience
- Sound GAAP and GAAS knowledge
- Possess excellent people development and delegation skills, including training/instruction and engagement scheduling and budgeting
- Possess executive presence - need to be able to be primary contact for the client, prepare and present presentations to clients and potential clients
- Possess client development/relationship-building skills
- Possess solid decision-making skills
- Able to be responsible for engagement profitability including billings and collections
- Possess proven solid verbal and written communication skills
The salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $125,000 and is commensurate with relevant experience.
